Cookie policy
What cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can control them. Last updated 21 October 2026.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser or on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, keep them secure and, in some cases, to understand how they are used or to show advertising.
How jvai.uk uses cookies
This website uses only strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies. These are the ones the site needs to work properly and stay secure, such as keeping a form submission working or protecting against spam and abuse. The law does not require your consent for these, so you will not see a cookie banner.
This website does not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not build profiles of visitors.
The types of cookie
- Strictly necessary: needed for the site to function and be secure. These are the only kind used here.
- Analytics: measure how visitors use a site. Not used here.
- Advertising and tracking: follow you across sites to show relevant ads. Not used here.
Third-party services
The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. This does not set cookies in your browser, but your browser does request the font from Google’s servers, which means your IP address is shared with Google. See my privacy policy for details.
If you follow a link from this site to another website, that site may use its own cookies. I do not control them, so please check their policies.
How to control or delete cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you see which cookies are stored, delete some or all of them, and block them from particular sites or from all sites. Instructions differ by browser, so check the help section of the one you use. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the contact form, from working properly.
For general guidance on cookies and how to manage them, see the ICO’s guide to cookies.
If this changes
If I add analytics or any other optional cookies in future, I will ask for your consent before they are set, where the law requires it, and update this policy and my privacy policy. The date at the top shows when this page was last changed.
