Recent work

A closer look at what bespoke automation, apps, dashboards and web work look like in practice: the problem, the approach, and what changed as a result.

Supported housing for vulnerable adults · Power Apps + Dataverse

Care management, without the paperwork

One system replacing scattered forms, spreadsheets and folders for a frontline care team.

A bespoke care-management application for an adult social care provider, built on Power Apps and Dataverse. Referrals, service-user records and documentation now live in one place, so a small team spends its time on care rather than admin.

Website · WordPress + Custom Design

A Canon specialist that finally looks the part

A local photocopier dealer’s dated site rebuilt with hand-crafted layouts, not off-the-shelf blocks.

A full WordPress redesign for a Canon photocopier dealer, with every section custom-designed rather than assembled from stock templates. The result leads with the numbers that build trust: response times, first-time fix rates and decades of local service, all in a fast, mobile-first build that turns visitors into enquiries.

Content tool · Editorial engine, part 1

Trend2Post: one article generator, many websites

Search-ready articles for several WordPress sites, from a single screen.

A self-built generator that turns a site, a keyword and an article type into a structured draft that follows each site’s own rules, with a person reviewing before anything goes live. It is one half of the editorial engine I use to publish across multiple WordPress websites.

SEO tooling · Editorial engine, part 2

SEO Command Centre: know what to write next

Keywords, competitors and trends for every site, kept in one place.

A project-based SEO dashboard that holds each site’s seed keywords, competitor domains and trend data, with research notes filed in Obsidian. Together with Trend2Post it forms the editorial engine behind my content sites.

Planning tool · Claude Code

Project Planner: scope it properly before building

Detailed specs for apps and automations, ready to hand to Claude Code.

A planning app that lets me define a project in detail before any building starts, whether it’s a Canvas app, a React app or an automation or workflow. It produces a set of files: CLAUDE.md, business requirements, technical requirements, screens, data model and tasks. Claude Code then builds from a clear brief instead of guessing.

Directory · BestInCornwall

A regional guide that ranks

A hub-and-spoke content site built for real organic search visibility.

A regional directory and guide site with a custom content pipeline behind it: location guides, structured internal linking and an SEO-first approach designed to earn traffic rather than pay for it.

Video · Automation + open-source tools

Guide pages turned into explainer videos

Branded videos for YouTube and social, made from a web page and a folder of photos.

A pipeline that turns a BestInCornwall guide page and my own photos into a finished explainer video: slow zooms, animated maps and short text cards over music, with no voiceover. Each video comes out twice, with music for YouTube and a silent copy for Instagram and Facebook, along with the title, description and chapters ready to publish. It runs on free, open-source tools on my Mac, and I steer it from Claude Code, approving the facts and the storyboard before anything is built.

Learning tool · Claude Code

Microsoft Study Tool

Practice questions and hands-on labs mapped to every skill in a course’s official outline.

A self-built study app, made in Claude Code and organised around the official skills outline of a Microsoft Learn course. Every skill links to practice questions and a lab, with practice, exam and review modes and a dashboard to track progress. I built it around the AB-410 exam, and it adapts to any Microsoft Learn course.
